UEL Extra offers an exciting range of part-time and flexible learning opportunities from the University of East London to help you balance study with work and other commitments.

If you are thinking of developing your career, looking to boost your qualifications or simply want to learn something new, UEL Extra offers a range of short courses and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that you can study at your own pace. And if you are unsure about returning to study or want to update your skills, our bite-size taster days give you a flavour of our innovative approach to learning and allow you to move on to further study.

Our impressive purpose-built facilities include modern teaching and learning centres, clinics, laboratories and workshops based at our Stratford and Docklands campuses. In addition, many of our flexible courses also run at the new Barking Learning Centre, providing study opportunities within the heart of the community.

We support and value our part-time students. We offer a range of bursaries and fee waivers to help you finance your study and expert tutors and advisors are on hand to support you throughout your time at UEL and to help you achieve your career or academic goals.
